We, as roommates, decided to go to Roy's Pizza. The pizza is, well, pizza but it was really fun. There is always a good time when we are together. Are we not so super cute! I love us.

Endnote: The girl on the left is Britt's friend, not our roommate.

Well this week was truly a blast. I had so much fun in such a short amount of time and I don't want it to end. Jeff came home from his mission on Tuesday. What an amazing time that was! There are so many feelings one feels when their brother comes home from his mission; joy because after two years of waiting you finally get to see him, relief because all of those thousands of prayers were finally answered and there is no more worrying about him, sadness because you realize all the time that was lost without him there, and fear for what he has to readjust to back home. Seeing my brother was one of the most amazing feelings one can feel.

There is an extremely funny story about his homecoming that I don't believe happens very often. Well my entire family got to the SLC airport and was patiently waiting for Jeff. Our excitement is furthered by people saying how good the missionaries look and telling us they are on their way. Well we wait until we see the pilots come off and we know something is up. We look up toward the escalators and see the six missionaries waiting up top. After waiting another thirty minutes we are all curious as to what the crap the missionaries are doing. (By now we could not see them anymore) So anyway my big brother, Kris, decides to go pick up my brothers bags at the baggage claim. My sister comes running towards us all and says, "there is Jeff." No one could see him yet. "He is over there by Kris." We crumple our signs up and book it towards them. Finally we are met with Jeff. After two years... That is a long time.

Turns out his companion's flight was canceled from SLC to Idaho and they we trying to figure the entire thing out. They went over to terminal 2 (we were in terminal 1) and couldn't get back through security to come the way most missionaries do. Don't worry the other missionary figured it all out and was able to see his family but not until the next day... that stinks. Anyway it was quite a strange experience.

The rest of this week was spent with my family. Everyone was here (except my aunt Denise and we missed her) and we had a partay every night ha and day. My cousin Allie was here and we have been super close since we were babies. She is only ten days older than me and we do everything together when we are together. There is no saying what we might do. I also got to see some of my friends at that was nice.

Family is so special to me and I freaking love everyone so much. Though sometimes in life may be hard, I know that family will always be here for me and I am so blessed that I know that and to have it in my life.

Well I will post some pictures of the homecoming later when I get them all.

Snap Wall!!!

I love this wall. It is by far my favorite wall in the apartment. Ashley pulled some genius and instigated a snap cup for the apartment. It is a cup in which we put comments on and we read them once a week (on sundays). Then they go straight on the wall. Right now there are about afinity on the wall so we don't know where else to put them. Yeah we are cool. It just shows how much we all love eachother and the fun we have and continue to have throughout the year. GO A11!!!

Homecoming 2008

Me, McCalls, and Ash after the football game. I know I have a lot of face paint but hey I AM in the pep band so I got to be peppy...

Ambs and I after the game.

Homecoming 2008. That is Heather up top, Michelle on the left, McCalls in the middle, and Melissa rockin it out on the end.

Don't really know the kid looking at the camera all that well but there is the football team. We beat New Mexico 58 to 12. It looks nice outside now but by the end of the game it there was at least one blizzard and I was freezing my face off (literally having to play my sax). It was horrible but at least we won.

Milk in the Nose...

Milk came out of my nose the other day. It was quite embarrassing and it hurt really bad, but the cake I was having it with was pretty much delicious!

In Home Camping

We decided to camp in our house because it was raining outside. All the better though. Roasting hot dog and marshmallows in the oven was a first for me and I loved it.

This was our sleeping quarter. We all slept in sleeping bags and kept the door open for a more authentic feel. Are we not hilarious.

Cooking waffles in the morning mmm delicious. Can't have saturday without 'Waffle Wednesday Saturdays.'

Ash eating a delicious smore. We ate dinner around a camping lamp so it would be kind of like a camp fire. It was super cool.

Flying High

Even though this is really super blurry, I really like this picture haha. Not only do I look super cool (whatever) but I am wearing my indian jacket and my chacos. How much cooler can I get. This was on our wonderful hike and I felt so good that day. I have really had so much fun down here at Snow and it is just the perfect place for me. Small but happenin. ;)

HIKING!!!

We took a hike to Maple Canyon. It is so beautiful and the hike was amazing!!! I loved everything about it. Sarah is the other girl in the picture that some of you might not know. She is in my math and band classes and we have a lot in common.
We put the camera on the car and tried to take a picture. It kind of worked but the canyon was so beautiful.
Sarah and I on the hike.
My wonderful foot in a little creek on the hike. I couldn't resist because it just looked so darn cool.
The canyon we hiked up. I really like this canyon, it is a lot of fun to hike in and there are little adventures everywhere. We only went up to the waterfall and then turned back around but there is a rope you can go up to the climb the waterfall. I want to do it one day.

More Birthdays!

This is Ashley's birthday cake. McCall made the cakes and I made the middle layer of cream cheese. I also wrote the 'Happy Birthday ASH!' McCall and I make a very good team, it worked out perfect.

Well McCall kind of struggles and this is her first attempt at the frosting for the cake. Lets try it again...

Well this is Ashley's car since she doesn't really have one... haha HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASH!!!!

Play-Dough!!!

We had a play-dough party for Ashley's birthday and it was so much fun!!!

Apartment problems...

This is all because Amber put potato peals down the sink... Just kidding Amber we love you. Our sink broke so we took all of our dishes to C1 and Shawn was kind enough to help us. (Our dishwasher wouldn't work either) When things break in our apartment we just take care of it all at C1... Like our dryer. It has been broken so we have to either hang our clothes everywhere or try to find someone kind enough to let us use their dryer. It is usually the C1 boys or B7 girls.

Shawn helping the helpless A11 girls.

Tattoo PARTAY!!!

This is our table. It's name is "The Shawn" because Shawn said so. Anyway we filled it up with Tattoos and started out party. I had a total of about 6 tats.

McCall and I are like the same people you see so we magically ended up putting the same tattoos on the same feet with out even knowing. Yeah I thought it was pretty crazy too.

Melissa and Kelsey are hardcore and their tattoos prove it. MMM huh they are totally too cool for their own good.

Happy Birthday!!!

We celebrated my birthday! It was also Ryan's birthday so we celebrated out birthdays together. My mommy made my cake and McCall made the big cake. I sure loved my birthday.
These are some of my favorite boys. There is Shawn, Ryan, and Riley. They are over a lot and Shawn asked me to marry him but it didn't work out. ;) He is pretty much one of the kindest boys ever.
This is Shawn's leg. Jason slapped him and it kind of broke a blood vessel or something. He still has a scare from it to this day.
This is me opening my gifts. Even my roommates got me something. They are too much.

ROOMATES!!!

We have many traditions, one is called ICE CREAM SUNDAY FRIDAYS and we go to the malt shop sometimes. Amber couldn't come and Kristen is taking the picture. From left to right; McCall, Ashley, Brittney, Me, Kelsey (not really a roommate ha).

The two missing in the previous picture. Kristen on the left and Amber on the right.  Kristen is my room roommate and I love her so much. No one else could be as perfect of a room roommate for me as her. Amber is pretty much the party of the apartment and I love her too!!!

I don't really know what we are doing but this is the balcony of our apartment. There is Britt, Me, McCalls, Ash, and Kris, and we are hilarious.

This is Ash, Britt, and McCall in our kitchen. Ashley is the cutest person ever and not to mention the nicest person I have ever met. Brittney kind of keeps to her self but she makes the apartment what it is and we love her. McCall is freaking hilarious and is no nice to just talk to. I love them all So much. I don't think they could have placed us all in a better apartment for each other.

Lemon Chicken?

The first Sunday alone I tried to make my mom's delicious lemon chicken. It was definitely not the same but it was alright considering. I was satisfied.

Nothing Like a True College Dinner

The perfect college dinner... Don't you think? This was my roommates and my first ever dinner on our own. Ramen, left over pizza, grapes, and a salad, what more could I ask for?

Why College?

Snow College is so much fun. There is a perfect balance of school and play. It is crazy how much I know that this is where I am supposed to be right now in my life. Everything is going perfect... except our dryer is still broken after almost 2 months and things in our apartment have slowly started falling apart. All well I love it. I miss my family everyday but I know that at this time in my life, this place is where I need to be.
