Well this week was truly a blast. I had so much fun in such a short amount of time and I don't want it to end. Jeff came home from his mission on Tuesday. What an amazing time that was! There are so many feelings one feels when their brother comes home from his mission; joy because after two years of waiting you finally get to see him, relief because all of those thousands of prayers were finally answered and there is no more worrying about him, sadness because you realize all the time that was lost without him there, and fear for what he has to readjust to back home. Seeing my brother was one of the most amazing feelings one can feel.

There is an extremely funny story about his homecoming that I don't believe happens very often. Well my entire family got to the SLC airport and was patiently waiting for Jeff. Our excitement is furthered by people saying how good the missionaries look and telling us they are on their way. Well we wait until we see the pilots come off and we know something is up. We look up toward the escalators and see the six missionaries waiting up top. After waiting another thirty minutes we are all curious as to what the crap the missionaries are doing. (By now we could not see them anymore) So anyway my big brother, Kris, decides to go pick up my brothers bags at the baggage claim. My sister comes running towards us all and says, "there is Jeff." No one could see him yet. "He is over there by Kris." We crumple our signs up and book it towards them. Finally we are met with Jeff. After two years... That is a long time.

Turns out his companion's flight was canceled from SLC to Idaho and they we trying to figure the entire thing out. They went over to terminal 2 (we were in terminal 1) and couldn't get back through security to come the way most missionaries do. Don't worry the other missionary figured it all out and was able to see his family but not until the next day... that stinks. Anyway it was quite a strange experience.

The rest of this week was spent with my family. Everyone was here (except my aunt Denise and we missed her) and we had a partay every night ha and day. My cousin Allie was here and we have been super close since we were babies. She is only ten days older than me and we do everything together when we are together. There is no saying what we might do. I also got to see some of my friends at that was nice.

Family is so special to me and I freaking love everyone so much. Though sometimes in life may be hard, I know that family will always be here for me and I am so blessed that I know that and to have it in my life.

Well I will post some pictures of the homecoming later when I get them all.
